The Green River Trails System Public Open House will be held on Aug. 13 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Green River City Hall located at 460 E Main Street in Green River.

They will be serving sandwiches, snacks and drinks.

This open house is sponsored by the City of Green River, in partnership with the National Park Service Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program.

Organizers said, "We'll have images, maps, and updates since our last full partners meeting in February.

With the assistance of the National Park Service's RTCA program, we've made a lot of progress and are eager to share information and ask for your input to continue the momentum we've built together."

Partners on this project include the City of Green River, Emery County Board of Commissioners, Emery County Economic Development, Emery County Travel Board, Epicenter, NPS, BLM, Green River State Park, State of Utah Division of FFSL, University of Utah College of Architecture and Planning, and Utah State University College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences.
