Aubrey's Salon recently opened in Ferron. Aubrey Jensen has been cutting hair for five years now. She graduated from Ben Losee in Provo. You can reach Aubrey's Salon at 384-2802 or 749-2926. Jensen specializes in cuts, colors and perms. Waxing of face, eye brows, lips and chin are available. She also does hair extensions. You can come in for a style, if you're having a bad hair day and you can still get a shampoo and a set at Aubrey's Salon.

Aubrey is working to keep her prices low so everyone can afford to look good. Men's haircuts are $10, $12 for women, $10 for kids. Hair colors are $40 and she has a large selection of color to choose from for grey coverage or if you just want a color change. Men can have their gray hair covered for $15.

Jensen encourages everyone to call and make an appointment Monday-Saturday any time. She will accommodate early or late appointments. If you are desperate and need a haircut at the last minute, she will be glad to come down to the salon and give you a hair cut. Anytime you want to come in she is glad to help you out. Aubrey's Salon is located at 30 East Main in Ferron inside the Dugmore Heating and Appliance Building. She also carries the Enjoy line of hair care products and Crew for men. Aubrey said one of her customers called her and was leaving town for a few days and wanted to have a hair cut before he left so she came right down and he was on his way a half hour later. "I really want to thank everyone for being so supportive. Call and come in for a hair cut or style and see what Aubrey's Salon has to offer. During the months of January and February if you mention you saw our salon in the Emery County Progress newspaper, you will receive $5 off a hair cut. I really enjoy everything to do with hair, cutting, perming, styling. Come in and give me a chance to make you look great. I have been open since Nov. 1 and building my clientele. I purchased the business from Tyra Crosland. We have a toy room for the kids with a TV so you can bring your kids along when you come for a hair cut and they will be entertained," said Jensen.

The Emery County Business Chamber hosted a ribbon cutting to welcome Aubrey's Salon to Ferron. Family and friends gathered with Aubrey including: Julie Jensen, Russell Jensen, Gordon Pace, Keegan Hickok, Terry Seely, JD Seely, Coy Jensen, Guy Seely, Helen Pace and Ferron City Mayor Joann Behling welcomed the new business to Ferron.
