Weather Spotter

A weather spotter training class will be held at the Emery County Sheriff's Office on March 16 at 5 p.m. Spotter training consists of a powerpoint show presented by a forecaster from the National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office, Salt Lake City. Winter storms, fire weather, marine weather, flash floods and severe thunderstorms will be covered. Information will be shared on what weather events to report and how to report them. Safety and preparedness will also be addressed. The entire presentation will be around one hour. Everyone welcome.

Emery County Business Chamber Lunch and Learn on March 15 at noon

The next Lunch and Learn for the Emery County Business Chamber will be on March 15 at noon at the Museum of the San Rafael. Call the Emery County Progress at 381-2431 to reserve your spot. The luncheon is $12 and will be catered by Kent Wilson at BKs. Other RSVP numbers include: Taina Benson 435-384-3333. Alan Christensen from Snow College will speak about incorporating the internet and social networking into your business.

Alcoholics Anonymous

An AA meeting will be held every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in Ferron at the Senior Center, 190 N. 300 W. For information call Paul -749-9697 or Jan - 384-2773.
