The annual PTA Reflections program was held on Jan. 31 at the Museum of the San Rafael in Castle Dale. Virginia Sanchez, region 12 director welcomed the audience. Winners from Emery and Carbon counties were present. Kirk Sitterud, superintendent of the Emery County School District was on hand to present the awards to the Emery Council Winners. Patsy Bueno, elementary supervisor from the Carbon District presented the Carbon Council Winners. Sanchez then presented the region winners with a cash award and medal. These region winners will go on to compete against other districts at the state level. The state program will be held in April.
