    	NOTICE is hereby given that a petition has been filed with Castle
Dale City proposing the annexation of an area to Castle Dale City. On
June 7, 2011, the Castle Dale City Council accepted a Notice of
Certification from the City Clerk certifying that the petition meets
the requirements of the State Code and adopted a resolution indicating
its intent to annex the proposed area. The area proposed for
annexation in the annexation petition is specifically descriped as
    Beginning at a point which is 28.94 feet West of the Northeast
corner of the Northwest quarter of Section 3, Township 19 South, Range
8 East, SLB&M, said point being on the existing Castle Dale City
Boundary; thence West, 491.56 feet along said City Boundary, thence
South, 165.00 feet; thence East, 495.26 feet more or less to the west
right-of-way line of County Road; thence N 1017'01" W, 165.04 feet
along said right-of-way to the point of the beginning.
    Containing 1.87 Acres more or less.
    	The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and
copying at the office of Castle Dale City.
    	Castle Dale City may grant the petition and annex the area
described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation
petition is delivered to the Castle Dale City Clerk by 5:00 p.m. July
6, 2011.
    	A public hearing will be held in the Castle Dale City Hall on
July 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. for this matter of business.
