Grand County will have vacancies at year end for two positions on
the Historical Preservation Commission, with new terms expiring
12/31/2015. Applications due October 28th.
Qualifications to serve on a Grand County Board or Commission:
Grand County resident or a resident of San Juan or Emery County
so long as the applicant has an interest in preserving Grand
County's history.
Have the appropriate expertise when required by law.
Agree to abide by the County's Conflict of Interest Ordinance.
Interested applicants shall complete the "Board, Commission, and
Committee Certification and Application Form" available at
www.grandcountyutah.net/pdf/BoardAppForm.pdf or at the Council's
Office. Completed forms may be emailed to council@grand.utah.gov or
delivered to Grand County Council Office, 125 E Center, Moab, UT
84532 by 5pm on Friday, October 28, 2011. For more information call
(435) 259-1346. The Grand County Council will begin making
appointments for these volunteer positions during the regular Council
meeting on December 20, 2011.
