Post Office meeting for Emery Residents

All Emery Town residents are encouraged to attend a meeting concerning their post office. Questionaires were sent to all post office box holders last week in their mail box. The meeting will be on Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at the community center.

Millsite Ladies Golf

The Millsite ladies golf association will be holding their closing social on Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Castle Dale Senior Citizen Center.

Festive Friday Returns

USU Extension will hold the first Festive Friday event on Oct. 14. Mark Your Calendars and plan to attend.Please RSVP. Our special guest speaker is Shandra from Deals to Meals. She is a specialist on wise shopping, food storage and using the food we purchase without extreme couponing. You can see her blog at This class will be longer than the one hour timeframe so plan accordingly. See you there. Party in Pink: Zumbathon

Zumbathon Charity Event. Proceeds from the Zumbathon will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and its global non profit partners to fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs. The event will be on Oct. 14 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Carbon County Event Center, 310 South Fairgrounds road in Price. Tickets are $10 there will be drawings and prizes and some T-shirts available. Tickets may be purchased from local Zumba instructors Chery-435-749-0439 and Samantha 435-820-6905.

Community Theatre Volunteers Needed

We need: directors, costumers, make-up helpers, set crews, backstage helpers, musicians, choreographers, just to name a few. We will have a meeting on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. at Cottonwood Elementary.
