Food wars at the rehab centers in Ferron and Price

In the spirit of Christmas giving, Emery County Care and Rehab has challenged Pinnacle Nursing and Rehab to a food drive.

The care center donating the most non-perishable food in pounds by the 19th of this month will win the competition.

The winners will get the talented administrator from the other facility to provide entertainment for the residents and staff during one meal. So the real question is.... will it be Al or Alec?

Everyone in both communities is invited to contribute to the competition and see the results.

Take non-perishable food to the collection boxes at either center.

Since the food banks are the spotlighted charities of the month, both counties will benefit regardless of who wins. Donations will be taken through Dec. 19 with the official weights revealed on the 20th.

For questions in Carbon County call 637-9213. In Emery County call 384-2301.

Care center administrators said, "Thank you for your support. We care because you care."
