On Mar. 14 and 15, Emery High girls softball hosted a tournament at the school. Five teams competed during the weekend spring opener.
Emery's first game was against Wasatch High. The Wasps won 3-0. In the second game, the Lady Spartans played San Juan and won that game 14-5.
The Carbon High Dinos gave Emery their second loss in the third game with a score of 8-6. Emery played West High in the fourth and final game for the Lady Spartans and they came away with a 14-2 win.
