PUBLIC NOTICE Petition for Annexation

    A Petition for Annexation has been filed in the office of the
Ferron City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a
parcel of land belonging to Robert Hagara and a parcel of land
belonging to David Dendler, located at approximately 1005 East Bench
Road, more specifically described as follows: 

	Beginning at a point which is 131.66 feet East of the Southwest
corner of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section
11, Township 20 South, Range 7 East, SLB&M, said point being on the
existing Ferron City Boundary; thence North, 125.00 feet along said
City Boundary; thence East, 384.84 feet; thence South, 125.00 feet;
thence West, 384.84 feet to the point of beginning.      

Containing 1.10 Acres more or less. 

	Notice of certification was received by the Ferron City Council on
March 20, 2012.  The complete annexation petition is available for
inspection and copying at the office of the Ferron City Recorder.  

	Ferron City may grant the petition and annex the area described in
the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with
the Emery County Boundary Commission through the Emery County
Commission Office at 75 East Main, Castle Dale, Utah 84513, and a copy
of the protest delivered to the Ferron City Recorder at 20 East Main
Street, Ferron, Utah 84523 by April 20, 2012.  A protest to the
annexation petition may be filed by property owners if it contains the
signatures of the owners of private real property that: (1) is located
in the unincorporated area within ½  mile of the area proposed for
annexation; (2) covers at least 25% of the private land area located
in the unincorporated area within ½  mile of the area proposed for
annexation; and (3) is equal in value to at least 15% of all real
property located in the unincorporated area within ½  mile of the
area proposed for annexation.
