Public Notice is hereby given that the Emery County Board of
Commissioners is seeking applicants for one mid-term board vacancy on
the Emery Water Conservancy District. This term will expire 4/2013.
Any registered voter, living in the district boundaries is eligible to
apply. A volunteer action form is on-line at www.emerycounty.com or
at the Clerk/Auditor's office during regular business hours. The
volunteer form will need to be returned to the Clerk/Auditor's office,
P.O. Box 907, Castle Dale, Utah 84513 by May 25, 2012 at the close of
business. These appointments will be made on or about June 12, 2012
in a regularly scheduled commission meeting. Any interested candidate
will be allowed to be heard at this meeting prior to the appointment.
Emery Water Conservancy District
Number of vacancies: one (mid term vacancy)
The Emery Water Conservancy District meets at least quarterly on
Fridays at 3:30 p.m. in their offices located 50 S 100 E., Castle
Dale, UT 84513. The board has a total of seven (7) members and
oversees operations of the district.
