Poker Ride Benefit For Millsite State Park

July 14 - Register at Millsite Park in Ferron Canyon from 9 a.m. - Noon. The first poker card will be $10 and any extra cards will be $5. There will be a parking fee of $5 in the park. You will receive an extra poker card free with proof of park fees paid. Overflow parking available.

Sponsored by Emery County Travel Council and the Southeastern Utah OHV Club. (All proceeds will be used to improve facilities at Millsite State Park).

Miss Emery pageant

The Miss Emery Pageant will be held on July 7 in the Emery High Auditorium. Tickets are $6 at the door and $5 in advance. Tickets can be purchased from a contestant.

Little Miss Emery pageant

The Little Miss Emery, Junior Miss Emery and Miss Teen Emery pageant will be held on July 6 at 5 p.m. at the Emery High Auditorium. There is a $3 entrance fee.

Heritage Days begins

June 29 and 30 Heritage Day's Rodeo 8 p.m. Rodeo Arena

June 29 Heritage Days Softball Tournament 6 p.m. Huntington ball complex

July 1 Huntington Glee Club Fireside 7 p.m. Huntington Stake Center

July 2 Smarter than a fifth Grader 5 p.m. Huntington Park; Huntington's Got Talent. 6 p.m. Huntington Park

July 2 Dinner $5 Plate $20 Family 6:30 p.m. Huntington Park

July 2 Val Jensen Band 7:30 p.m. Huntington Park
