A fire started today (June 26) on the Left Fork in Huntington Canyon. The United States Forest Service has sent helicopters to survey the fire. It has been determined the fire is moving north to northwest and currently no structures are being threatened. At this time the Forest Service has determined not to fight the fire but to let it burn. The fire is believed to have been started by a lightning strike.
