PRICE-Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Malinda Mae Hoggatt Hunt, age 82, passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 26, 2012.

She was born May 18, 1930 in Slater Creek, Colo. to Robert Lee and Wanda Pearl Robertson Hoggatt.

On Nov. 13, 1949 she married Ferris J. Hunt in Ely, Nev.; he preceded her in death on May 9, 2010.

Mindy was a graduate of Green River High School Class of 1948. She was an avid card player who was always ready for a good game of cards above anything else. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, quilting and reading a good book. Family meant the world to her and she was happiest when visiting with her friends and reminiscing at the family reunions.

She is survived by her children, Jon (Sheryl) Hunt, Woodbridge, Virg., Susan Turner, Sunnyside, Dan (Lisa) Hunt, Helper; her siblings, Bernie, Avis, Ethel, Bobby, LeRoy, Lois, Carol, Nora and Anna; eight grandchildren, Jenny, Malinda "Bo" (Jason), Lorraine, Range, Kaleb, Jeremy, Cody and Jessica; six great-grandchildren, Dillon, Seth, Drew, Cy, Dawson and Hannah; nieces and nephew, Lyda, Lynda, Carla and Chet; and special lifelong friend, Romola.

Mindy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ferris Hunt; son and daughter-in-law, Tim (Julie) Hunt; son-in-law, Ben Turner; grandson, Jeffery Hunt; and a brother, Jimmy Hoggatt.

Graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, 11 a.m., Elgin Cemetery, Green River, Utah. Family received friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Mindy online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
