 | | Published 145 days ago | SNOW DAY, Long awaited snow hits county over Christmas
Emery County received snow on Dec. 18, Dec. 24 and Dec. 26 to blanket the county with snow for a white Christmas. There were many accidents and slide offs due to the weather conditions. According to the Emery Water Conservancy District's website, the recent snow has brought the snow water equivalent to 120 percent of average and the total precipitation to 101 percent of average.
