PRICE-Retired United Mine Worker of America District # 22 President, Fred A. Lupo, passed away Feb. 22, 2013 while exploring in the great-outdoors. Fred was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who was born April 4, 1949 in Standardville, Utah. He was the son of Louie and Leola Richins Lupo. Memorial service, Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) Price. Family will be at Mitchell's Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Fred online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net. In remembrance of Fred, the family welcomes friends to contribute in his memory to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Tooele, Utah Chapter, 321 Durrant Street, Grantsville, Utah 84029.
