Two vehicles collide on Main Street in Castle Dale; no injuries reported

A two vehicle accident on Main Street in Castle Dale on Monday afternoon left two vehicles severely damaged.

The accident occurred at the Center and Main Street intersection in Castle Dale at approximately 3:30 p.m. A Ford Escape allegedly pulled out in front of a truck pulling a horse trailer heading northbound.

The Castle Dale EMTs responded to the scene to check out those involved in the accident, but no one was transported to the hospital. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.

Traffic was diverted around the accident scene by the Castle Dale Fire Department and the Emery County Sheriff's Office.

The Utah Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
