  Request for Submittal/Bid For Abatement of Asbestos VAT & Mastic
June 2013

	Emery School District is now accepting submittals/bids for the
abatement of approximately 2,946 square feet of asbestos containing
floor tile and mastic at two schools.  Work to begin on or about June
1, 2013 as directed by Owner and to be completed on or before June 30,
2013.  Must field verify measurements.   Mandatory Walk Through on
Thursday, April 4, 2013 beginning at 1 p.m. at Huntington Elementary
School; 55 East 100 North, Huntington, Utah and Emery High School
immediately following.

	Submittals/Bids will be accepted until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10,
2013.  Bids will be opened at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at
the Emery School District Board Office at 130 North Main in
Huntington, Utah.  

	Submittals/Bids may be mailed or faxed to Kerry Lake, Building
Construction & Facilities Supervisor.  A Bid Bond in the amount of
five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Emery County
School District must accompany each bid.  The Emery School District
reserves the right to reject any or all submittals/bids or to waive
any formality or technicality in any submittal/bid in the interest of
the School District.  Owner reserves the right to accept or reject the
lowest responsible submittal/bid.
