Easter Egg Hunt

Cleveland Town will sponsor this year's Easter Egg Hunt on March 23, at noon. All preschool and elementary age children are invited to meet in front of the Cleveland Town Hall, 35 S. 100 W. So bring your baskets and don't miss the fun in Cleveland. It's fun, it's free and everybody gets a prize! Please don't be late we start promptly at noon. For more information call the town hall at 653-2310.

USU Extension

Steer weigh-in and tagging for the Ferron livestock show will be March 23 at 10 a.m. until noon. Locations: Ferron stock corral, Dutch Flat Road, 200 E. 500 S. and Miller Creek stock corral, Upper Miller Creek Rd and 69 S. The weigh-in enters exhibitors in the beef rate-of-gain contest and proves ownership for the stockshow.

Emery County Republican Party

The Emery County Republican Party is having an organizing convention March 28 at 6 p.m. at the Huntington Elementary School. The purpose of the convention is to nominate and elect officers for the executive committee which include chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer and county representative. Any Emery County Republican in good standing can run for an office on the executive committee. Qualifications and term are: All officers must be at least 18 years of age, be registered Republicans and have resided in Emery County for at least one year. The term of all elected county party officers shall be two years.
