  PUBLIC NOTICE
Petition for Annexation

	A petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the
Huntington City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a
parcel of land belonging to Mark Justice, Kathy Justice Estates,
Arnold Acres, Inc and David J Johnson on the southeast side of
Huntington City limits as follows:

	Beginning at a point which is South, 150 feet from the Northwest
corner of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section
30, Township 17 South, Range 9 East, SLB&M, said point being on the
existing Huntington City Boundary; thence East, 600 feet along said
City Boundary; thence South, 310.19 feet; thence East, 751 feet more
or less to the east line of the West half of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 30; thence South, 2193.79 feet more or less to the
Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 30; thence West, 771.92 feet to the east line of tax
parcel 3-79-19; thence North, 250 feet along said parcel 3-79-19;
thence Northwesterly, 80.94 feet along said parcel 3-79-19 to the
south line of Tax parcel 3-79-22; thence East, 53.05 feet more or
less, along said parcel 3-79-22; thence Northeasterly, 147.28 feet
more or less, along said parcel 3-79-22; thence N 79°16'38" E,
355.39 feet along said parcel 3-79-22; thence Northeasterly, 103.18
feet_ along said parcel 3-79-22; thence N 01°08'47" W, 354.57 feet
along said parcel 3-79-22; thence S 89°59'07" W, 1145.23 feet along
said parcel 3-79-22 to the east line of the Southeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of said Section 30; thence South, 75.21 feet more or
less to the Southeast corner of the North half of the Southeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 30; thence West,
1303.5; 20 feet more or less to the east line of tax parcel 3-79-13;
thence North, 231 feet along said parcel 3-79-13, more or less to the
existing Huntington City Boundary; thence East, 33 feet along said
City Boundary; thence North, 429 feet along said City Boundary; thence
East, 1270.5 feet along said City Boundary to the Northeast corner of
the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 30;
thence North, 1170 feet along said City Boundary, more or less to the
point of beginning, containing 77.42 Acres more or less

	Notice of certification was received by the Huntington City Council
on March 29, 2013. The complete annexation petition is available for
inspection and copying at the office of the Huntington City Recorder. 


	Huntington City may grant the petition and annex the area described
in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed
with the Emery County Boundary Commission through the Emery County
Commission Office at 75 East Main, Castle Dale, Utah 84513, and a copy
of the protest delivered to the Huntington City Recorder at 20 South
Main Street, Huntington, Utah 84528 by May 29, 2013.  A protest to the
annexation petition may be filed by property owners if it contains the
signatures of the owners of private real property that: (1) is located
in the unincorporated area within 2 mile of the area proposed for
annexation; (2) covers at least 25% of the private land area located
in the unincorporated area within 2 mile of the area proposed for
annexation; and (3) is equal in value to at least 15% of all real
property located in the unincorporated area within 2 mile of the area
proposed for annexation.
