PRICE/GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - Steven Lee Davies, 26, of Grand Junction, Colo., passed away on April 21, 2013 due to complications from cancer.
He was born on July 6, 1986 in Price to Rick and Sheri Davies. Steven graduated from Carbon High School in 2004. He was currently a student at Colorado Mesa University. He married the love of his life, Sinda Jane Muncy on Sept. 25, 2004.
Steven's passion in life was riding his bike. He loved going on group rides on the Colorado monument with his friends as often as he could. He spent the last two years working at The Bike Shop while he attended classes at CMU. Steven loved to go camping, fishing, taking his daughters on bike rides, and going on date nights. In his spare time you could always find him tinkering with his bike, trying to fix something, and playing his guitar and bass.
Steven is survived by his wife, Sinda Davies, Grand Junction, Colo; his three children, Hayley Lynn, age 5; Tera Leigh, age 3; and unborn son, Nolan Dirk; His parents, Rick and Sheri Davies, Price; Parent-in-laws, Randy and April Muncy, Grand Junction, Colo; Grandmothers, Janice Davies, Price, and Sheila Dunster, Salt Lake City; grandparents Jim and Sue Dunster, Dayton, Idaho; his sister, Rachel Paddock, Ely, Nev; his sister-in-laws, Randi (Chris) Jensen and Jessi (Justin) Smythe, Grand Junction, Colo; and multiple aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
Steven was preceded in death by his son, Luke Anthony Davies, his grandfather, Richard "Ted" Davies, his uncle, Dirk Davies, his uncle-in-law, JL Lemon, his cousin, Clinton Christensen and his cousin-in-law, Karen Hopkins.
A service was held in his memory at the River of Life Alliance Church, 701 24 Â½ Road, Grand Junction, Colo. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11 a.m.
