HUNTINGTON- Allen D. Nielsen, age 60, passed away July 29, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 17, 1952 in Price, Utah to Ted and Ellen Barney

Nielsen. He Married Jane Dixson August 17, 1971; she passed away May 1981. On June 10, 1983, Allen married Kelli Colosimo in Las Vegas, Nev.

Allen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a longtime resident of Emery County where he was a welder and foreman at

K and K Hydraulics until his health declined.

Allen was an avid sportsman who spent many hours in the mountains hunting and fishing on the lakes and streams. He was a tireless worker and farmer who enjoyed raising cattle and moving sheep to the summer range. His greatest love in life was spending countless hours with the love of his life Kelli, who dedicated her life caring for his every need during his years of illness.

Allen is survived by his wife Kelli Nielsen, Huntington; daughter, Spring (Dan) Peterson; grandchildren, Katlynn, Kayden and Kelden Peterson, all of Springville; mother-in-law, Pat Colosimo, Price; sister-in-law, Sidnee (Bob) Krajnc, Mesquite, Nev; brother-in-law, Pat O'Neil, Price; three sisters and two brothers, Laura Nielsen, Duchesne; Roger (Lori) Nielsen, Price; Debbie (Randy) Curtis, Wellington; Becky (Richard) Curtis, Helper; Carry (Bridget) Nielsen, Huntington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael; sons, A.J. and Louis; father-in-law, Lou Colosimo; and sister-in-law, Patti O'Neil.

Funeral service, Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, (233 East Main) in Price. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Allen at
