This past weekend the 624th National Guard Unit that is stationed in Price were very busy.

Friday they conducted their PT tests by doing situps and pushups in the yard at the units headquarters and then they took a two mile run on Airport Road.

On Saturday and Sunday they spent time inventoring equipment that was returned from their deployment in Afghanistan last year.

But the highlight of the weekend drills was the change of command that took place on Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

At that time Captain Christopher Vernon handed over command of the 624th to Captain David Jensen.
