By DE LAMAR GIBBONS, MD Blanding
Dear Editor,
The anti-war, anti-administration chorus needs to be reminded of the lessons they should have learned in Vietnam. We did not lose the war in Vietnam because of the Vietnamese military superiority, we lost the war because of the vocal anti-war, anti-military voices showing disunity in the United States. Thus they encouraged the Viet Cong to continue fighting-while at the same time, they were discouraging and disparaging our servicemen, political leaders and civilians. I question allowing protesters to lead us to another defeat in Iraq?
