ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of (briefly describe
nature, scope, and major elements of the work) Emery County Recreation
Complex Renovation, 2014, will be received by the Local Building
Authority of Emery County at the office of the Emery County Clerk @
75 East Main - PO Box 629 - Castle Dale, Utah until 4:00 p.m., May 12,
2014, and then opened and publicly read aloud during the regularly
scheduled Local Building Authority of Emery County Meeting May 13,
2014, at 9:00 a.m.
A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, made
payable to the Owner, shall accompany the Bid.
Major items of work:
1. 34' x 34' Block Concession/Restroom Building
2. Irrigation System (4 Softball Fields)
3. Concrete Flat Work
4. Infield Skin (4 Softball Fields)
5. Outfield Sod (4 Softball Fields)
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive
any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of Emery
Prospective bidders shall assemble at the office of Johansen & Tuttle
Engineering April 23, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., for the group showing.
Attendance at the project pre-site-show meeting and site-show is
mandatory and a prerequisite to submitting a bid for the project.
Bidding Contractors, or a duly authorized representative, must arrive
at the Project Engineer's office for the said meeting and
site-showing, at Johansen & Tuttle Engineering, 90 South 100 East,
Castle Dale, UT.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the Engineer's Office:
Johansen & Tuttle Engineering, Inc., 90 South 100 East, Castle Dale,
Utah 84513. Contract documents may be obtained at the Site Show upon
a non-refundable payment of $75.00 for each set. After the site show
bidding contractors can request an electronic copy, which will be
provided for an additional fee of $50.00.
