Legal Notice of Proposed Action Opportunity to Comment Dry Wash Wildlife/Fuels Project

Opportunity to Comment
Dry Wash Wildlife/Fuels Project
	The Manti-La Sal National Forest, Sanpete Ranger District is
preparing an Environmental Assessment for the Dry Wash Wildlife/Fuels
Project. The project area is located west of Ferron, Utah. The
District Ranger for the Ferron-Price Ranger District of the Manti-La
Sal National Forest has identified several specific needs on National
Forest System land to address wildlife habitat and hazardous fuel
conditions in the Dry Wash Wildlife/Fuels Project area.

	The proposed action and associated analysis can be obtained from the
Ferron Ranger District, 115 West Canyon Road, P.O. Box 310, Ferron,
Utah 84523. The comment period ends 30 days following the date of
publication of this legal notice in the Emery County Progress. This
publication date is the exclusive means for calculating the time to
submit comments on the proposed action. Those wishing to comment on
this proposal should not rely upon dates or timeframes provided by any
other source. Only those who provide comment or otherwise express
interest in the proposed action during the comment period will be
eligible as appellants. Interest expressed or comments provided on
this project prior to or after the close of this comment period will
not constitute standing for appeal purposes. Comments must meet the
requirements of 36 CFR 215.6.

	Comments must be submitted to Darren Olsen, District Ranger at Ferron
Ranger District, 115 West Canyon Road, P.O. Box 310, Ferron, Utah
84523, Fax Number (435) 384-3296. Comments may be submitted by email
in word (.doc or .docx), pdf, rich text format (.rtf), text (.txt),
and hypertext markup language (.html) to Comments may
also be hand delivered weekdays 8 AM to 4:30 PM at the above stated
address, except holidays. To be eligible for appeal, each individual
or representative from each organization submitting comments must
either sign the comments or verify identity upon request. Names and
addresses of commenters will become part of the public record.
