Castle Dale City Celebration on June 14

Castle Dale City is in the planning stage for its annual City celebration to be held June 14.

The new event is called "Touch a Truck". We need your support by having you bring interesting vehicles to display. We are looking for big tractors, mowers, construction equipment, heavy equipment, semi trucks, garbage trucks, limousines, delivery trucks and any vehicles that may be interesting to a child.

City Celebration schedule: Saturday, June 14

Touch a Truck, 10 am - 2 pm, free, on 5th east, bring your cameras

Horseshoe Tournament at noon, 2 person teams, double elimination, $20 a team, $150 added

Sidewalk chalk drawing contest, noon - 4 pm, free

Greased pole climb, 3 pm, free, $50 to the "winner".

KIDS GAMES, 2 pm-4 pm, free

Water Weenie Soccer

Frozen Hostess Cupcake Walk; Dunk Tank; Fire truck rides; Duck pond; Fish pond; Sandbox Treasure Hunt

World Famous Barbeque for a Buck, 4pm

Kids Rodeo, 6:30 pm, 4 pigs, 17 chickens, 3 ducks and 1 grumpy rooster. Some events require sign up and entry fee.

Fireworks, Dark at Cheddar Field, free

Castle Dale Kids Rodeo, Saturday, June 14th, 2014, 6:30 pm

Event 1: Chickducken Chase Ages 4 to 6 (keep chicken or duck), 3 chickens, 1 duck

Event 2: Stick horse race Ages 0 to 3 ($20 to the winner) must bring your own stick horse.

Event 3: Chickducken Chase Ages 7 to 9 (keep chicken or duck), 3 chickens, 1 duck

Event 4: Mutton Busting Ages 4 to 8 ($25 added), 60 pounds max. 16 riders, Entry fee $5, must sign up and must wear lace up shoes or boots. Must wear helmet, helmets available

Event 5: Chickducken Chase Ages 10 to 12 (keep chicken or duck), 3 chickens, 1 duck

Event 6: Stick horse race Ages 4 to 6 ($20 to the winner) must bring your own stick horse

Event 7: Girls Pig Chase Ages 5 to 8 (keep Pig), 1 pig

Event 7: Boys Pig Chase Ages 5 to 8 (keep Pig), 1 pig

Event 8: Chicken Chase Ages 13 to 15 (keep chicken), 2 chickens, 1 mean orange rooster

Event 9: Steer Riding Ages 9 to 11 ($25 added), 12 riders, Entry fee $5, must sign up and must wear lace up shoes or boots. Must wear helmet, helmets available.

Event 10: Chicken Chase Ages 16 to 20 (keep chicken), 3 chickens

Event 11: Girls Pig Chase Ages 9 to 12 (keep Pig), 1 pig

Event 12: Boys Pig Chase Ages 9 to 12 (keep Pig), 1 pig

Event 14: Cash Cow Ages 13 to 16 ($50)
