Emery rodeo participates in Utah finals Allred third in bulls-heads to nationals

The Emery High rodeo club participated in the Utah High School finals rodeo in Heber City on May 30.

For Emery, Marrissa Austin finished 28th in barrels. Lacy McElprang finished 26th in breakaway roping, Hanna Nielsen finished 35th in breakaway roping. Austin Allred finished third in bull riding. Brooklin Ewell finished 30th in polebending. Tialynne Moosman finished 42nd in polebending. Louie Ivie and Taylor Wilstead finished 13th and 14th in team roping. Hadley Cloward and Ty Gordon finished 41st and 42nd in team roping. Dillon Wilstead and Ladd King, Double D finished 43rd and 44rd. Bret Nielsen and Leah Madsen, Grantsville finished 101st and 102nd. Hanna Nielsen and Camaree Burnside, Cow Country finished 105th and 106th. Lacy McElprang and Bowdie Jacobsen finished 127th and 128th. Hadley Cloward finished 28th in tiedown roping. Louie Ivie finished 46th in tiedown roping and Bret Nielsen finished 23rd in trap shooting.

Austin Allred will represent Emery Rodeo at the High School National Finals in Rock Springs, July 13-19.
