Councilman Mark Justice helps in the tree planting efforts along Main Street.

Huntington City citizens recently participated in a tree planting activity. The trees were purchased with a grant from Tree Utah, an organization dedicated to the planting of trees in Utah. Trees are beneficial to the environment as well as adding beauty to the landscape. The Huntington Beautification committee secured the funds and purchased non fruit producing plum and pear trees. The trees were planted along the Huntington Main Street by the city workers, city council, boy scouts and other church groups. After the trees were planted the group met in the park for lunch.
