Emery golfers at the state tournament.

The Emery High Golf Team participated in the state meet at Eagle Mountain Golf Course in Brigham City on Oct. 8. Chandler Pearson, Kendrick Wilson, Dereck Brotherson, Chad Anderson, Scott Lofley and Louis Duke all participated.

Emery High's team score was 348 on Wednesday and did not permit the team to compete on the next day. Pearson shot an 81, Wilson an 86, Lofley and Brotherson each a 90, Anderson a 94 and Duke a 97. The score to beat to be able to compete on Thursday was 320.

Dixie High School won the tournament and the low score was a 69.
