Huntington 1st Ward Party

Huntington First Ward will hold their Christmas Party of Dec. 23 at 6 p.m. Special visitor, Santa sacks, singing and refreshments. Everyone welcome.

Cleveland Party

Cleveland town will hold it's annual Christmas party on Christmas Eve. Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. at the town hall. There will be a short program, light refreshments and of course, Santa will make a special visit. Join the fun family holiday tradition.

Rabies Clinic

Cleveland Town will sponsor a rabies clinic on Jan. 24, 2004 from 1-3 p.m. at the Cleveland Cemetery storage building, 200 North 600 East. All dogs are required to have a current rabies shot before they can be licensed for the new year.

VFW Assistance

A field service officer from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department Service Office will be at the Price Workforce Service Center from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, 2004 to assist in understanding and applying for rightful VA benefits.

College Tuition Assistance

The US Commission for Scholastic Assistance offers many scholarships in many different categories. For information on obtaining these scholarship lists, send a self-addresssed stamped envelope, business size, to: The US Commision for Scholastic Assistance, P.O. Box 3209, Farifax, VA 22038-3209.

H.E.A.T.

Need help with your heating bills? Get in touch with HEAT. Apply at Emery County Community Center, 40 South Center Street in Castle Dale. Applications will be taken from Nov. 3, 2003 to March 31, 2004. Proof of income, family size or disability will be required. Call 381-5410 for an appointment.

Power Wheelchairs

If you have suffered a stroke or been diagnosed with arthritis, Parkinson's disease, a respiratory disorder, or any other condition which causes you to be unable to walk or self propel a manual wheelchair, you may be eliglible to receive a motorized wheelchair at no out of pocket expense. Call Independent Senior toll free at 1-800-383-8435.

Salvation Army

Donations are needed from Emery County residents to the Emery Chapter of the Salvation Army which provides emergency assistance for the people of Emery County as well as people traveling through the area. Mail donations to the Emery County Sheriff's Office, Box 281, Green River, Utah 84525 or Emery County Sheriff's Office, Box 817, Castle Dale, Utah 84513. Union Local 6363

Attention, union meeting for local 6363 will be held the third Wednesday of every month at the District 22 office in Price. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. Attend if you want to receive 70 year anniversary cap.

Castle Dale Library Story Time

Story Time for pre-schoolers will be held every Friday at 11 a.m. Will be held every Friday except Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

Recreation Center Open Night

Open nights at the Emery County Recreation Center will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-10 p.m. There will be basketball, foosball, table tennis, darts, board games, etc. For more information, please call Emery County Recreation at 381-2108.

Chris Boniol Christmas Kicking Camp
