Emery County Sheriff's Office recently participated in the annual Shop with a Cop activity.
Emery County Sheriff Lamar Guymon said, "This is a volunteer program the officers can participate in. Each year we have more and more officers that want to help with the program. Wal-Mart furnishes the money for the gifts and we furnish the cops. It is a great program and we love to see the smiles on the kids faces as they pick out gifts.
"Not only do they spend some money on themselves, but most of them want to pick something out for the other members of their families. It's great to see the cops and the children interacting together," said Sheriff Guymon.
