AnnDee Adams Makes a Clean Sweep in Moab

Whoever said "dynamite comes in small packages" may just have been referring to AnnDee Adams, 12, of Castle Dale. The small blonde cowgirl made a big showing in Moab, taking home wins in the Open 1D both Saturday and Sunday, the Youth 1D both days, as well as the Fast Time Award for the weekend, the Open 1D average and the Youth 1D average. The only thing she didn't take out of Canyonlands Country was the dirt, she was running too fast all weekend for any of it to catch up with her.

Last year's Arches Winter Series Youth buckle winner Adams was no stranger to the winner's circle in Moab. She was back with a vengence on Feb. 21-22 trying to take over the lead in the Open race for 2004 as well. Her decisive wins just about wrapped up her lead over the older and more seasoned competition. The Arches Winter Series Finals weekend will be April 3-4 in Moab. Over $2,500 added in cash and awards. PhotoMakers and Cactus Tack will be on hand for the weekend.
