Recently, members of the Republican party received an invitation to attend a community lunch in honor of Gary Herbert who is running for governor.

The letter was somewhat misleading. Commissioner Drew Sitterud and Commissioner Ira Hatch were in support of Mr. Herbert coming to the county and meeting the citizens of Emery County, but the letter was not an endorsement of Mr. Herbert's candidacy.
