Dear Editor,

I would like to extend my appreciation to an Emery High teacher, Mrs. Wendy Whittle. During this school year my younger sister was hospitalized due to serious health issues for several months. During those several months she was unable to attend school. My sister only had three classes that she attended this year, for the rest of her time was spent on the work study program. She was a member of Mrs. Whittle's AP English class. After her first stay at the hospital, Mrs. Whittle called and offered any services including personal tutoring to help keep my sister up with the rest of the class. This was such a relief to our family to know that Mrs. Whittle not only understood but also cared about the success of her students. After our second stay at the hospital, again Mrs. Whittle was very gracious with her time to help with the completion of the AP English. We appreciate you Mrs. Whittle for all of your time and effort.
