CASTLE DALE-Nile "Kay" Wilberg passed away Dec. 10, 2004 in his home in Castle Dale. He was born Jan. 20, 1924 to Warren H. and Lila (Rowley) Wilberg, in Castle Dale. He married Annie Arvella Easterbrook in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 9, 1943.
Kay served in the military during World War II. He was a hardworking man and loved seeing new areas; he knew every backroad in Utah! He made a living traveling for various trucking companies. He enjoyed his family and any time spent watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren was a choice blessing. He loved people. He served in various callings in the LDS church.
Kay is survived by his wife of 61 years; children, Dennis E. (Kathryn) Wilberg of Moab; Clark N. (Joyce) Wilberg of Copperas Cove, Texas; Nancy Kay (Ron) Nielsen of Bountiful; and Dale E. Wilberg of Cedar City. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, brother Wayne Wilberg of Castle Dale and sister Janet Taylor of Huntington. Preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Olson, and brother LeGrand Wilberg.
Services will be held Tues. Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. in the Castle Dale Stake Center. Friends called Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, and also on Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Burial in the Price City Cemetery.
WELLINGTON-Our loving son, brother, uncle and wonderful friend to many, Grady Eugene O'Hearon, age 59, passed away Dec. 11, 2004 in Wellington. Born July 2, 1945 in Price to Grady Lee and Elnora Louise Brown O'Hearon.
Butch was a longtime resident of Carbon County and member of the Price First Baptist Church. He loved fishing, playing cards, country music, watching movies and the stock car races. He also enjoyed latchhooking, painting and sharing time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.
Survived by his mother, Louise O'Hearon, Price; sister, Tanya L. Skinner and Rudy Santistevan, Helper; brothers, Rick L. O'Hearon, Ted (Jana) O'Hearon; sister-in-law, RoseMary O'Hearon, all of Price; dear friend, Greg; special caregivers, Ed and Jerry Chavez, and their choice staff, Judy, Linda, Arnie, Sam and Jessica, all of Wellington, Richard (Diane) Wymer and their staff at the Castle Valley Center in Price.
Funeral service, Wed. Dec. 15, 2004, 11 a.m., Price First Baptist Church, located at 200 North 300 East. Family will be at the church Wednesday one hour prior to service. Friends are welcome at Mitchell Funeral Home daily. Interment, Price City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions in Butch's memory, to the Price Key Bank.
Steve "Chopper" Yamaguchi
PRICE-Yoneo Steven Yamaguchi, Sr., age 61, passed away on Dec. 12, 2004. He was born on June 10, 1943 in Price, to Shigeta and Midori Tadehera Yamaguchi Sr.
Married the love of his life, Josie Espinoza on Oct. 16, 2004.
Steve proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. His passion was taking off on his Harley Davidson with his wife and friends at the spur of the moment. He also enjoyed fishing, old cowboy movies, going to Wendover, shooting his pistol, and "chicken and rice." His laughter and sense of humor were an unmistakable part of his exceptional character. Steve was a big man with a gentle soul who is loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Survived by his wife, Josie; children, Y. Steven (Sharon) Yamaguchi, Jr., Price; S. Ryan Yamaguchi, Salt Lake City; Steven Espinoza, New York; Nikki (Johnathan) Vasquez, Price; granddaughter, Kristina Yamaguchi, Carbonville; siblings, Bill (Jan) Tadehera, Seattle, Wash.; Akemi Vicki (J.D.) Bailey, New Jersey; Roy (Ruth) Yamaguchi, New York; Ted (Kayla) Yamaguchi, South Jordan; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, S. Roger Yamaguchi.
Funeral service, Fri. Dec. 17, 2004, 1 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
