Recently the Emery County Historical Society enjoyed a great evening with Max Finley telling a little about growing up in Emery County. Finley has also written a book on wild flowers and he discussed it. Finley also related his World War II experiences. Finley was very informative and everyone there seemed to enjoy the evening.
The December meeting was the annual Historical Society Christmas Party. There were stories by Gayle Hill, Maribelle Wareham, Shawnee Barnes and Kathryn Seely. Eilene Lofthouse played for the sing along. The refreshments were "bring your own treat." Historical society members and guests seemed to enjoy the festivities.
