| UDOT crews work to remove debris from the roadway in Huntington Canyon on Wednesday. |
Traffic was blocked in both lanes on Wednesday when a rock slide containing one huge boulder and several smaller boulders came down a hillside on SR-31 in Huntington Canyon.
UDOT crews immediately responded to the scene where they cleaned the debris from the road. They reported that no vehicles were involved in the slide. UDOT officials caution the driving public to be aware of rocks coming into the roadway as the snows melt and cause shifting of the rocks on the hillsides.
