Cheerleaders compete in Best of the West

The Emery High cheerleaders place first in 3A competition.

The Emery High Cheerleaders competed in the "Best in the West" cheerleading competition in Delta on Jan. 29. The Emery Spartan cheer squad took first place in the 3A division. Their performance was flawless and strong according to coaches.

"The Spartan cheerleaders have worked hard this year and put in a lot of time and it has paid off. We couldn't be prouder of our girls," said coaches. The cheerleaders appreciate their family, friends, and the community for all the support they have shown throughout the school year. Cheer team: Roxanne Jackson, Brittany Ungerman, Savanna Allred, Stephanie Morash, Kelsi Ekker, Ashley Huntington, Karlie Jensen, Kenzie Jensen, Breann Bentley, Tiffany Olsen, Lacey Branson, Davie Stokes, Sammie Behling, Savahna Roach, Candice Hensen, Ashton Hansen, Misha Addley, Lyndi Jensen, Jacie Lyn Fasselin and Ashley Flowers.
