Commission appoints land council members

The Emery County Board of Commissioners approved the recommendations by the Emery County Public Lands Council for the four open positions on the council. Applications were gathered over a period of one month with the following people submitting applications: Eric Luke, Dickson Huntington, Reed Martin, Mark H Williams, Tory Killian, Jack Rogers, Doyle Jensen, Randall Stilson and Gary Petty.

The commission approved the appointment of Dickson Huntington, Tory Killian, Gary Petty and Eric Luke to fill the vacant positions. The public lands council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. in the county building in Castle Dale.
