The Emery High girls softball team competed in their first preseason game on March 9. The game was held at Emery High and the girls team beat Richfield 17-7.
The team traveled to Kanab on March 12 where they played three preseason games. In the first game against Monticello, the Lady Spartans won that game 9-1. They played Kanab in the second game and lost with a score of 5-2. Fredonia was the final game of the weekend and the girls lost 6-5.
