Baseball Camp

Emery County boys and girls age 9 and up are encouraged to attend a Baseball Camp which will be held on April 1-2 at the Huntington ball complex. On April 1 from 4 p.m. until dark players can sign up for personal one-on-one instruction. On April 2 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. professional players and high school coaches will conduct the training which includes pitching, hitting, catching, infield and outfield training. Campers fee $25. Personal instruction $25. Contact Shaun Bell for more information at 749-2237. You can register at the baseball signups or on the day of the camp. Instructors include: Angelo Ceroni, Angels, Ryan Pond, Angels, Frank Pezely, Texas Rangers, Mike Burrow, Seattle Mariners, John Pezely, UBA Taylorsville baseball coach, Troy Norris, UBA Skyline High School baseball coach.

Emery County Cal Ripken Little League Signup, March 16 and 17 at 6-8 p.m.

Elmo - Chad and Cassi Lake Residence 140 North 100 West.

Cleveland - Fire Station.

Huntington - Old City Hall.

Castle Dale - Kent Jorgensen Residence 315 East 600 North.

Orangeville - Cottonwood Elementary.

Ferron - City Hall.

Emery - City Hall.

At large signups in Castle Dale -Jorgensen residence.

Major League-fifth and sixth grade and Minor League third and fourth grade sign up cost - $35.

Rookie League-first and second grade sign up cost - $25.

Play begins third week of April, practice begins end of March.
