Newspapers appoint new general manager

New general manager Richard Shaw looks over an ad campaign with Jenni Fasselin, advertising director, Kate Johanson, ad sales representative and Jacee Ashby, production manager on Monday morning. Shaw was named to his position last week by parent company Brehm Communications in which he will oversee operations at both the Sun Advocate and Emery County Progress. Ken Larson will continue to serve as the publisher of both papers, but is also serving in a consultant capacity for three papers owned by the company in southern California which will take him away from the Castle Valley area for extended periods of time.
