In the second ball game of the day, Emery faced the Ben Lomond Scots, Region 8's fourth place team. Ben Lomond had a record of 5-15.

The Uintah Utes were the host team for the day as they were the first place team in Region 10. Uintah was 14-4 coming in to the day.

Uintah defeated Ben Lomond 3-1 before losing to Pine View 6-2. All three of these teams advanced to St. George this week to continue the tournament.
