| The rock climbing wall was a big attraction. |
The first Black Top Knight festival was held in Castle Dale on May 27. A variety of events and activities were available for the participants. There was a drawing contest for children and also a catapult building contest in conjunction with the event. A traditional feast was also available which was served on a platter. A concert by Hitch and strolling minstrels and actors added to the medieval atmosphere. Event organizers hope to make the Black Top Knight an annual event in the county.
