Toni Oliverson

ORANGEVILLE-On June 28, 2005, Sonja (Toni) Earley Oliverson left his mortal life to be in the waiting arms of her Heavenly Father and her family. Toni was born on May 20, 1942 in Montpelier, Idaho, to Joseph Hyden and Edith Weston Earley. She has two sisters, LuJuan Bartlett and Jolene (Jim) Contos.

She married Garth Oliverson on Oct. 27, 1967. They were later sealed with their two sons on April 28, 1984 in the Jordan River Temple. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She has two sons, Neil and Clay and her daughter Tammy. She has six grandchildren, five beautiful girls and one very special grandson. Preceded in death by her mother, father, and husband.

Graveside services were in the Orangeville Cemetery on Fri. July 1, 2005 at noon. A viewing was held one hour prior to service at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale.

Howard Morgan Oveson

Howard Morgan Oveson passed away June 12, 2005 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born Sept. 7, 1933 in Castle Dale to Louis Perry and Lucille Farnworth Oveson. He graduated from South Emery High School. He attended Utah State University, Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He married Pamela Brady, later divorced.

He is survived by daughter Arrianne (Brian) Woolf, and son, Brandon Robert Oveson, both of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, Selena Oveson, Mckenzie, Carter and Kaitlyn Woolf; two sisters, Donna (Jerry) Witbeck, Fallbrook, Calif., and Karen (Paul) Peacock, Orangeville; a sister-in-law, Isabelle Oveson, Huntington; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Valdean Oveson.

Russ Williams

WELLINGTON-Russell Stewart Williams, age 42, passed away June 27, 2005. He was born May 25, 1963 in Superior, Ariz. to John Elmer and Grace Shepherd Williams.

Russ was a man of many talents and he shared these gifts by helping those in need. He was very creative with his hands and he loved doing good deeds for others. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, fishing and traveling. Russ loved spending time with his family, especially with his nephews, Tristen and Braxten, and niece Kiona.

Survived by his mother Grace (Danny) Golding, Miller Creek; brothers, John Williams, Jr., Springvalley, Nev., Troy Williams, Price, Jim Williams, Everett, Wash.; sisters, Tiffany (Ryan) Moyes, Salt Lake City, Tavia Golding, Grand Junction, Colo., Lori (Doyle) Muncy, Price; grandmother, Inas Williams, West Virginia; aunt, Elise Norris, Grand Junction, Colo.; uncles, Chuck Shepherd, Pine Hurst, Idaho, Benton Shepherd, Salt Lake City; nephews, Tristen and Braxten; special friend, Jeremiah; and many other loving aunts and uncles.

Funeral service was held Fri. July 1, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Wellington Fourth LDS Ward. A viewing was held on the previous evening and one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Deseret Industries, 1161 East Main, Price.

Clair Anderson

EMERY-Clair Alfred Anderson, 75, of Hanford, Calif., formerly of Emery, passed away June 23, 2005. He was born Dec. 24, 1938 in Emery to Alfred Marion and Mabel Jacobson Anderson. He married Shirley Ann Minugh June 6, 1996 in Armona, Calif.

He was an avionic engineer with the federal government for many years, He is also an Army veteran.

His survivors include wife, of Hanford, Calif.; children, Clarice LaMont of Lebanon, Ore.; Rita Lunden of San Lorenzo, Calif.; brother, Dean Anderson of Gunnison; sisters, Renee Cupples of East Carbon City; Oreen Sawyer and Roma Cooper of Evanston, Wyo.; four grandsons and two great-grandsons. He is preceded in death by parents; brothers, Marl and Roy Anderson; and sister, LaRue Reed.

Services and viewing were held at Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on June 30. Graveside service was held in Emery on July 1. Burial in the Emery Cemetery.

Janet E. Herzet

PRICE/MAGNA-Janet Elizabeth Lamph Herzet, age 86, passed away June 29, 2006 after a brief illness in Salt Lake City at the Bennion Care Center. Born March 10, 1919 in Standardville to Nephi Albert and Nora blanche Memory Lamph.

She was a member of the LDS Church. Janet spent her life caring for others. She always looked for the good in everyone and in every situation.

Survived by her children, Randy (Cathy) Lamph, Helper; Betty Ann Arno, Magna; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Francis Memory Lamph; sisters, Alice Morine Davis, and Anna Maxine Davis. Preceded in death by daughter Veronica Blanche Milano.

Funeral services were held July 2, 2005 in the Price Stake Center. Interment in the Cleveland Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.

Cleo Fail Davis

Cleo Fail Davis passed away June 28, 2005 in Price Utah. She was born Feb. 18, 1919 to Frederick W. and Vila Jewkes Fail. She married Leland Davis May 23, 1940 in the Manti LDS Temple.

She and Leland worked hard to provide for their family. She was a faithful, active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various capacities in the Primary and Relief Society, but especially loved Primary. Cleo served a full-time LDS Mission at the Chicago LDS Temple. She was a loving mother who taught her children well. Leland passed away in 1973, and she met the challenge with courage and strength. She worked for E.G Luke and Sons, Emery County School District and Emery County Assessor's Office. Her immediate family and extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws were beloved by her.

She is survived by her children, Leland Paul (Lynda), Ogden; Max Sr. (LaRayne), Price; Fredrick "Rick" (Pam), Salem and Rosann Fillmore, Orangeville; her sister, Lorna (Don) Davis and sister-in-law Enid Fail, Elmo; grandchildren, Brett (Heidi) Davis, Wendi Davis, Todd (Kara) Davis, Jodi (John) Stacy all of Ogden; Max Jr. (Angie), Tiffany (Gary) McKibbon,

Lisa Cloward, Michelle Fuller, Billie Heileson, all of Price; Nancy (Dave) Schnabel, Wellington; Lyndsie, Brady, Parker, William and Katelyn Davis, all of Salem; Aleesa Fillmore, Orangeville; Darren (Miranda) Fillmore, Logan; Eric (Krystal) Fillmore, Price; and 16 great grandchildren.

Special caregivers were Aleesa Fillmore, Marti Snow, Carol Wilstead, Emily Hansen, Whitney Snow, Jasmin Stephens, Sara Lee Kemple, Alisa Kemple, and Joni Campbell. Many thanks for their love and care.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Vaughn Fail.

Funeral services were Friday, July 1, at the Orangeville Chapel, burial in the Orangeville Cemetery. Mortuary services provided by Fausett Mortuary.
