The Emery major all star team defeated South Sevier, Mesquite and Delta to get into the championship game on July 6. Delta worked their way back through the losers bracket to play Emery again in the finals. Delta took the first game 5-3 but, since Emery was undefeated a second game was played and Emery finished on top defeating Delta by a score of 12-5.
Emery will continute on in tournament play with a game in Nephi on Monday at 11 a.m.
