The Lady Spartans of Emery High fell short last week in their quest for a region victory against the North Sanpete Hawks. In their first game in nearly two weeks, Emery lost three games to one.

The scores of the games were 17-25, 20-25, 25-12 and 22-25.

Emery was scheduled to play in a tournament at Union High School Friday and Saturday but the games were dropped by Union with a change of head coaches.

After going on the road this Tuesday night at Juan Diego, the Spartans will actually host a home game. With their last home game coming nearly a month ago, Emery will host Delta on Thursday night in the Spartan Center.

Emery defeated Delta in the Weber tournament and they will be looking for revenge. Delta also defeated Juan Diego last week in region play.
