Domestic violence program

The Emery County Domestic Violence Coalition is sponsoring the seventh annual "October Awareness Program" in conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month Oct.12, from noon to 1 p.m. on the second floor of the county building. The event is free to the public. Lunch will be provided by the coalition Guest speaker will be Amy Rasmussen, LCSW.

Amy has many years of experience working with children and youth teaching social skills and counseling with families. She will speak on social aggression, otherwise known as "bullying". Amy will teach us how to spot bullies and how to stop them before they grow up to victimize their families and their communities.
