 |
| Emily Ussery is honored by her principal Dennis Jones. |
First grader, Emily Ussery proved that 911 education ready does save lives on Nov. 10. Her mother Patty Ussery is diabetic and had not slept well the night before. Her daughter, Courtney had woke her up that morning. Patty said she doesn't remember even getting out of bed. Young Emily found her mother passed out and called 911. Patty was transported to Emery Medical Center, where she was treated for low blood sugar. The medical center said if it would have been 20 minutes later she probably would have not made it. What a hero little Emily is.
